Landscapes have a way of drawing us in—whether it’s the vast openness of the ocean or the quiet solitude of the mountains. They stir something deep within us, a memory, a longing, a dream yet to unfold.

My landscapes are not just about places I have been, but also about places I long to be transported to. They exist in the in-between—familiar yet elusive, shaped by both memory and imagination. People often ask me, “Is this landscape in South Africa or the Netherlands?”  The answer is yours to decide. My work is meant to take you somewhere personal, somewhere only you recognise.
